Spectators: 6690 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mitchell Uster took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Mariemont's Kenny Worley got a free kick in the 5th minute. Johnathan McCracken received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. DeAndre Bowser tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Johnathan McCracken in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg DeAndre Bowser saved Mariemont from getting behind. 11 minutes into the match, Montoursville's Johnathan McCracken sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that DeAndre Bowser narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Mitchell Uster had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Johnathan McCracken might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over DeAndre Bowser. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Johnathan McCracken ran back to his position shaking his head. After 26 minutes, Mitchell Deal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Montoursville and the Mariemont players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 26 played minutes Montoursville got a freekick which was hit by Mitchell Deal. Mitchell Deal was shown his second yellow card after 28 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Mitchell Deal kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Montoursville's goalkeeper Saul Tabor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Colby Langley. Colby Langley scored 1-0 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Saul Tabor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ace Brown charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ace Brown the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Montoursville's Ace Brown got a free kick in the 39th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Colby Langley got free with Saul Tabor in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Montoursville's Johnathan McCracken got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emery Pujols received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Saul Tabor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

A hard shot by Cody Cisneros from long distance, 52 minutes into the match, got DeAndre Bowser's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. With a little luck, Mariemont's DeAndre Bowser got control of the ball when Johnathan McCracken tried to sneak it across the goal line. DeAndre Bowser made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Johnathan McCracken sent off a good shot on target. Johnathan McCracken could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but DeAndre Bowser made a huge save. The supporters of Montoursville booed when Mariemont was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elvis Alvarado didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Johnathan McCracken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Montoursville's Johnathan McCracken got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ricky Person fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without DeAndre Bowser having to interfere. Johnathan McCracken's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but DeAndre Bowser firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ricky Person hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Saul Tabor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Colby Langley in the 73rd minute of play. The supporters of Mariemont booed when Montoursville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricky Person didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ace Brown struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. DeAndre Bowser didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Montoursville. Ricky Person blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without DeAndre Bowser having to make a save. Mariemont's DeAndre Bowser proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Mariemont from getting a goal against them. In the 86th minute, Mitchell Uster got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Johnathan McCracken could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but DeAndre Bowser made a huge save. Johnathan McCracken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
