Spectators: 6709 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1709, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Brandon Connelly started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Fallbrook's Bryan Boswell sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Curt Lugo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of King City booed when Fallbrook was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Worthington didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th minute, Justin Newcomb hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brandon Connelly blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Curtis Myles having to make a save. Curtis Myles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brandon Connelly, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 15th match minute, Fallbrook was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denver Pendleton to maneuver through the defense. Greg Freeman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Curtis Myles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Curt Lugo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bryan Boswell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brandon Connelly in the 22nd minute of play forced Fallbrook's goalkeeper Curtis Myles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Fallbrook's Justin Newcomb got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Philip Rivas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Curtis Myles having to interfere. If Basil Schumacher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Fallbrook booed when King City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mason Bauman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ismael Vigil's late challenge caught a Fallbrook's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ismael Vigil helped the player get up and apologised. Philip Rivas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th minute, King City's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Basil Schumacher fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bryan Boswell stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Philip Rivas put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Curtis Myles. In the 58th match minute, Fallbrook was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tyrell Healy to maneuver through the defense. After 62 minutes, Jaime Worthington mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fallbrook and the King City players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 62 played minutes Fallbrook got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Worthington. 64 minutes into the game, one of Fallbrook:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 68 minutes into the game, Philip Rivas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. King City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fallbrook the free kick. Fallbrook's Basil Schumacher got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 71 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Fallbrook! The goalkeeper, Curtis Myles, was totally fooled by King City's Greg Freeman, who 73 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Fallbrook's Curtis Myles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Fallbrook from getting a goal against them. In the 77th match minute, Fallbrook was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Worthington to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute, Philip Rivas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Curtis Myles made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Philip Rivas sent off a good shot on target. Curtis Myles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brandon Connelly in the 82nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mason Bauman during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to King City getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Mason Bauman hit a great ball. After 86 played minutes King City got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Vigil. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bryan Boswell in the 89th minute of play forced King City's goalkeeper Curt Lugo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Greg Freeman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bryan Boswell took the ball and in the 98 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Curt Lugo. Curt Lugo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The King City players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
