Spectators: 6707 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1707, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rufus Pringle started the match with the kick off. Antoine Bonds charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antoine Bonds the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Gavin Burt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Universitario de Deportes's supporters rose to their feet, but Gavin Burt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lloyd Travis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rufus Pringle in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg A.J. Gillis saved Universitario de Deportes from getting behind. Rufus Pringle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Young Hull blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without A.J. Gillis having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Universitario de Deportes's Bret Mallory got a free kick in the 20th minute. Lloyd Travis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gavin Burt in the 26th minute of the match. Rufus Pringle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lincoln Baird hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After 40 minutes, Jacob Stinson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fountain Hill AFC and the Universitario de Deportes players grew even worse after the yellow card. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gavin Burt made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Universitario de Deportes's zone, Rufus Pringle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. A.J. Gillis came out of the goal and Rufus Pringle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 54 minutes, Rufus Pringle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fountain Hill AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rufus Pringle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 62 minutes into the match, Universitario de Deportes's Gavin Burt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lloyd Travis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Universitario de Deportes's A.J. Gillis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rufus Pringle in the 65th minute of play. Antoine Bonds got his second yellow card in the match during the 68th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Universitario de Deportes's Antoine Bonds got a free kick in the 69th minute. The long shot by Murray Levy in the 70th minute really tested A.J. Gillis's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rufus Pringle in the 73rd minute of play forced Universitario de Deportes's goalkeeper A.J. Gillis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Terrell MacKenzie came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Universitario de Deportes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Terrell MacKenzie couldn't finish the play. Rufus Pringle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without A.J. Gillis having to interfere. In the 78th minute of the match Murray Levy sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but A.J. Gillis skillfully saved the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leo Holland during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Universitario de Deportes getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Leo Holland hit a great ball. Carson Saunders received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. A.J. Gillis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, Universitario de Deportes's goal looked a bit too open when Rufus Pringle came free, but A.J. Gillis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A.J. Gillis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rufus Pringle in the 89th minute of play. After 95 played minutes Fountain Hill AFC got a freekick which was hit by Lincoln Baird. Lloyd Travis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Terrell MacKenzie in the 97th minute of the match. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
