Alfred Hinton came out and tried to block the shot, but Gregg Andrade slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 10th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Mad Rose's zone, Vince Spivey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adalberto Benavides came out of the goal and Vince Spivey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfred Hinton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Del Sinclair, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 34thth minute of the game Vince Spivey who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mad Rose's Adalberto Benavides was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Stephen Shearer came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Stade City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stephen Shearer couldn't finish the play. Vince Spivey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adalberto Benavides having to interfere. Alfred Hinton dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Bradly Ferrell charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bradly Ferrell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vince Spivey's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 87thth minute, Adalberto Benavides skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Vince Spivey kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Adalberto Benavides. That made the score 2-3 in the 89 minute of play. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Vince Spivey put it in 2-4 from a short distance just to the right of Adalberto Benavides. Vince Spivey in the 97thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Adalberto Benavides, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the match was over Stade City could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Mad Rose throughout the match.
