In the 18th match minute, FC Sabre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fred Trevino to maneuver through the defense. Carolina F.C.'s Jermaine Hurst got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Carolina F.C. booed when FC Sabre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Len Larsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Josef Toney sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tim Mullins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josef Toney in the 25th minute of the match. Francis Jenkins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blake Prather having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Josef Toney's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tim Mullins was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Josef Toney in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tim Mullins prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tim Mullins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josef Toney in the 87th minute of play. FC Sabre's Tim Mullins proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save FC Sabre from getting a goal against them. 90 minutes into the game, Jermaine Hurst cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6.
