Fort Bliss's Hayden Hodges proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Fort Bliss from getting a goal against them. Hayden Hodges stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rex Davison's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. A long shot from Emil Bucuță in the 40th minute of play was well struck, but Hayden Hodges made a really good save at the right post. The wind increased when Korey Stephens made the kick off in the second half. After 51st play minutes Hinrich Schlegel shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Hayden Hodges and just under the crossbar into goal. After 55 minutes, Rex Davison made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Fort Bliss's Hayden Hodges tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 61st minute Korey Stephens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brendon Gayle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hinrich Schlegel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rex Davison took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hayden Hodges. Hayden Hodges dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Fort Bliss's Hayden Hodges played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hinrich Schlegel in the 82nd minute of play. Adalberto Caballero walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After 88 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Fort Bliss! An unexpectedly hard shot by Rex Davison in the 93rd minute of play forced Fort Bliss's goalkeeper Hayden Hodges to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hayden Hodges took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hinrich Schlegel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Rex Davison's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hayden Hodges was relentless in the 99th minute of the game.
