Bronson Corey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bronson Corey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jackson Wiley in the 6th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 9th minute by Jackson Wiley got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Tracy Hodges showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richie Ladner, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Leon Rushing hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the match, Laurium's Jeramy Esposito sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tracy Hodges narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 30 minutes into the match, Rotonda AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jeramy Esposito came free, but Tracy Hodges reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rotonda AFC's Tracy Hodges played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richie Ladner in the 36th minute of play. After having played for 39 minutes, Darrell Yu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rotonda AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Darrell Yu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The wind increased when Jackson Wiley made the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the match, Rotonda AFC's goalkeeper Tracy Hodges had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jeramy Esposito. The supporters of Rotonda AFC booed when Laurium was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florian Joseph didn't get a good kick on the ball. Laurium's Bronson Corey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darrell Yu in the 60th minute of play. Wilford Thayer kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Leon Rushing's late challenge caught a Laurium's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leon Rushing helped the player get up and apologised. Darrell Yu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bronson Corey having to interfere. Bronson Corey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darrell Yu, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After 87 played minutes Laurium got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Ingram. When Jackson Wiley came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Rotonda AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jackson Wiley couldn't finish the play. In the 90th minute Jackson Wiley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bronson Corey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeramy Esposito could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Tracy Hodges made a huge save. 96 minutes into the game, Richie Ladner recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tracy Hodges. Richie Ladner showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Laurium players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Rotonda AFC.
