Spectators: 6713 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1713, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Richie Ladner took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Stacy Montoya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angelo Ingram kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the game, Stacy Montoya recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bronson Corey. Stacy Montoya showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Maple Shade FC's Hunter Melvin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richie Ladner in the 20th minute of play. After some careless play in the Maple Shade FC defense, Richie Ladner kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hunter Melvin. The Maple Shade FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hunter Melvin should have stopped the shot. Jeramy Esposito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Hunter Melvin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Laurium's goalkeeper Bronson Corey, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Stacy Montoya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Joseph Daugherty put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Bronson Corey. Stacy Montoya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Bronson Corey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Stacy Montoya made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, Maple Shade FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dirk Nelson to maneuver through the defense. Maple Shade FC's Stacy Montoya got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stacy Montoya in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bronson Corey saved Laurium from getting behind. After 65 played minutes Laurium got a freekick which was hit by Gerry Richter. After a defensive mix-up in Laurium's zone, Stacy Montoya stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bronson Corey came out of the goal and Stacy Montoya tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stacy Montoya recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bronson Corey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stacy Montoya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 74 minutes into the match, Jeramy Esposito notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Maple Shade FC's Hunter Melvin. Hunter Melvin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Richie Ladner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hunter Melvin having to interfere. Hunter Melvin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richie Ladner in the 82nd minute of play. Jeramy Esposito could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Hunter Melvin made a huge save. In the 86th match minute, Maple Shade FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dirk Nelson to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Laurium's Marlon Snider got a free kick in the 92nd minute. The Laurium supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Laurium would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
