After 30 minutes, Ralph Ali mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the North Gulfport AFC and the Fort Washington FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ralph Ali kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. The corner led North Gulfport AFC's Kerry Buchanan to fire away a dangerous shot which Franklin Paul despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of Fort Washington FC booed when North Gulfport AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clark Medrano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute, Terence Enriquez fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post.

The wind increased when Davis Rouse made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Terence Enriquez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sydney Schafer was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Terrell Henley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franklin Paul having to interfere. Sydney Schafer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Terence Enriquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Terence Enriquez in the 61st minute of play forced North Gulfport AFC's goalkeeper Sydney Schafer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sydney Schafer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davis Rouse in the 68th minute of play. In the 70thth minute of the game Wilbur Villa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fort Washington FC's Franklin Paul was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Davis Rouse in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sydney Schafer saved North Gulfport AFC from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Clark Medrano during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 80th match minute, North Gulfport AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clark Medrano to maneuver through the defense.
