Emerson Owen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adrian Cesario read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Quantico FC's Andrew Walden got a free kick in the 19th minute. Adrian Cesario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kris Hughes in the 20th minute of play. Whitney Ashby charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Whitney Ashby the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 23 played minutes Bostonia FC got a freekick which was hit by Whitney Ashby. In the 27th match minute, Bostonia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Griffith to maneuver through the defense. After 28 minutes, Kurtis Wallace made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Bostonia FC's Bryan Longoria tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Bryan Longoria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kurtis Wallace, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adrian Cesario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kris Hughes in the 40th minute of the match. Emerson Owen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Quantico FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Bostonia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emerson Owen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adrian Cesario stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emerson Owen's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kris Hughes in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adrian Cesario saved Quantico FC from getting behind. 75 minutes into the game, Ervin Atkins was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bostonia FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quantico FC the free kick. After 75 played minutes Bostonia FC got a freekick which was hit by Ervin Atkins. Shaun Ambriz charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Shaun Ambriz kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the match, Bostonia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kurtis Wallace came free, but Bryan Longoria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bryan Longoria made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Shawn Copeland sent off a good shot on target. The Quantico FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
