Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Levi Gold in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexander Wilburn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Levi Gold fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Wilburn having to interfere. If Claude French had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 27 minutes into the match, Gladstone's Palmer Caudill sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alexander Wilburn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 28 minutes, Claude French managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Medical Lake's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claude French was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bailey Blalock fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Darren Hawk having to interfere. With his leg Darren Hawk managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when Medical Lake's Bailey Blalock fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Palmer Caudill sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bailey Blalock blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Darren Hawk having to make a save. Darren Hawk was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Claude French showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 45 minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Claude French to strike the kick off in the second half. Claude French sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Darren Hawk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bailey Blalock's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Palmer Caudill could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Alexander Wilburn made a huge save. 69 minutes into the match, Gladstone's goal looked a bit too open when Bailey Blalock came free, but Darren Hawk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leroy Toney kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Gladstone's Wes Bowles shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 72nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Alexander Wilburn but with some difficulty. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Claude French in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Darren Hawk saved Gladstone from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Gladstone's Wilfredo Chang got a free kick in the 77th minute. Bailey Blalock struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Darren Hawk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Medical Lake. 81 minutes into the game, Medical Lake's Bailey Blalock nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Darren Hawk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Claude French received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Gladstone's Darren Hawk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claude French in the 88th minute of play. With a little luck, Medical Lake's Alexander Wilburn got control of the ball when Palmer Caudill tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Medical Lake players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
