Drew Bond showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Len Tobins short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Hans Dorsey to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jay Brand recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Jay Brand came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Ken Caryl fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jay Brand couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Drew Bond in the 39th minute of play forced Ken Caryl's goalkeeper Hans Dorsey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Len Tobin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Ken Caryl's Hans Dorsey got control of the ball when Len Tobin tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Drew Bond was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Tyrell Rooney was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. East Wenatchee FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ken Caryl the free kick. Tyrell Rooney kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Hans Dorsey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Drew Bond in the 56th minute of play. Drew Bond sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hans Dorsey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Drew Bond in the 60th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ken Caryl's Calvin Smith got a free kick in the 66th minute. Drew Bond received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Hans Dorsey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tyrell Rooney received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Ken Caryl's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because East Wenatchee FC had won, even though Ken Caryl had held more of the ball.
