In the 5th minute, Drew Bond got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Len Tobin managed to get in a good position for a shot. East Wenatchee FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Len Tobin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jefferson Poirier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Rudy Melendez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Myles Albert was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, East Wenatchee FC's Tyrell Rooney got a free kick in the 10th minute. The supporters of East Wenatchee FC booed when Arden Hills FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mike Murillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jefferson Poirier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Drew Bond in the 16th minute of play. In the 20th play minute Mario Williamson came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Myles Albert. 1-0. In the 23rdth minute of the game Rudy Melendez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but East Wenatchee FC's Myles Albert was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rudy Melendez's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 27thth minute, Myles Albert skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Matt McCauley hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. A collision led to East Wenatchee FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Len Tobin hit a great ball. Darrel Goddard charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Darrel Goddard the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 34th minute, Darrel Goddard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 40 minutes into the match, Len Tobin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jefferson Poirier. Arden Hills FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Len Tobin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mario Williamson got free with Myles Albert in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Arden Hills FC's Rudy Melendez in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye East Wenatchee FC's goalie prevented a goal. Drew Bond sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Arden Hills FC's zone, Len Tobin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jefferson Poirier came out of the goal and Len Tobin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The wind increased when Drew Bond made the kick off in the second half. When Bernardo Cain fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arden Hills FC's protests and gave Bernardo Cain a yellow card for diving instead. In the 53rd match minute, Arden Hills FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Cain to maneuver through the defense. In the 54th minute of the match, Len Tobin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jefferson Poirier was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 56 minutes Arden Hills FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gilbert Combs who took care of the corner kick. After a defensive mix-up in Arden Hills FC's zone, Drew Bond stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jefferson Poirier came out of the goal and Drew Bond tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. East Wenatchee FC's Myles Albert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudy Melendez in the 65th minute of play. Len Tobin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Jefferson Poirier made a huge save. Myles Albert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rudy Melendez, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. If Rudy Melendez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mario Williamson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Myles Albert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Myles Albert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rudy Melendez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. East Wenatchee FC's Myles Albert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudy Melendez in the 97th minute of play. The East Wenatchee FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Arden Hills FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
