Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Adalberto Walden started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Oscar Shook showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Hurst, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antonio Hurst in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oscar Shook saved Sapulpa FC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Sapulpa FC's Len Coppack got a free kick in the 11th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Antonio Hurst notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Sapulpa FC's Oscar Shook. Oscar Shook was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 18th match minute, Sapulpa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerard Crocker to maneuver through the defense. Reed Coker took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oscar Shook. Oscar Shook dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 25 minutes into the match, Revolutionary F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Adalberto Walden came free, but Jerry Odom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adalberto Walden in the 27th minute of play forced Revolutionary F.C.'s goalkeeper Jerry Odom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Virgilio James might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jerry Odom. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Virgilio James ran back to his position shaking his head. After 30 played minutes Sapulpa FC got a freekick which was hit by Van Buckley. 31 minutes into the match, Antonio Hurst had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Oscar Shook. Sapulpa FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antonio Hurst was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. A well-hit corner resulted in Winfred Ford heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Adalberto Walden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerry Odom having to interfere. Reed Coker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Oscar Shook tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lloyd Hartman during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Sapulpa FC booed when Revolutionary F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lloyd Hartman didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Reed Coker was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Sapulpa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Reed Coker came free, but Oscar Shook reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 54 played minutes Sapulpa FC got a freekick which was hit by Len Coppack. In the 67th minute, Virgilio James ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jerry Odom was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. After a rather tough play, Revolutionary F.C.'s Lloyd Hartman got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Jerry Odom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adalberto Walden, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adalberto Walden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Jerry Odom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reed Coker might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oscar Shook. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Reed Coker ran back to his position shaking his head. 83 minutes into the game, Virgilio James cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Jerry Odom was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 86 minutes, Van Buckley mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sapulpa FC and the Revolutionary F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Van Buckley hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Adalberto Walden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th of the match, Reed Coker tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Oscar Shook got in the way and made a wonderful save. The Revolutionary F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Revolutionary F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
