Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Heriberto Connor made the kick off and thus started the match. Alvin AFC were furious when Logan Rosado was red carded, 6 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 6 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Alvin AFC! 15 minutes into the match, Alvin AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Heriberto Connor came free, but Mike Key reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Alvin AFC's Glen Lentz got a free kick in the 15th minute. Mike Key didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Heriberto Connor went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 20th minute Heriberto Connor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mike Key saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. King-Clovers's Sean Daley got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 24 minutes into the match, Alvin AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Sean Daley came free, but Mike Key reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute, Sean Daley got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Sean Daley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sean Daley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Heriberto Connor in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mike Key prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mike Key made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heriberto Connor in the 41st minute of play. Sean Daley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Mike Key tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 46 minutes, Travis Hawley mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alvin AFC and the King-Clovers players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sean Daley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Mike Key tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Glen Lentz made a kick off. Heriberto Connor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mike Key having to interfere. If Sean Daley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With an all-out effort, King-Clovers's Mike Key threw himself towards the right post 57 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Heriberto Connor, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Sean Daleys short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got Mike Key to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Heriberto Connor came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the King-Clovers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Heriberto Connor couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Heriberto Connor in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mike Key saved Alvin AFC from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lorenzo Dickson during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alvin AFC's goalkeeper Mike Key, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Alvin AFC's Glen Lentz got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 83rd minute, Glen Lentz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alvin AFC's goalkeeper Mike Key, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Alvin AFC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Glen Lentz hit a great ball. Mike Key stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Heriberto Connor's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. If Heriberto Connor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. King-Clovers's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
