Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tony Rubio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Donnie Hagen made a huge save. Reinaldo Ladner struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Rudolf Duvall didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Everton FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Desmond Hand in the 14th minute of play forced Everton FC's goalkeeper Donnie Hagen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reinaldo Ladner kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. After having played for 16 minutes, Tony Rubio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bale Hill's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tony Rubio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bale Hill's Charlie McGill shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 24th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Donnie Hagen but with some difficulty. Bale Hill's Johnny Poole got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 27 played minutes Everton FC got a freekick which was hit by Lionel Fish. If Tony Rubio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Everton FC's Donnie Hagen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Everton FC from getting a goal against them. In the 35th minute Desmond Hand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donnie Hagen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Everton FC's Donnie Hagen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tony Rubio in the 42nd minute of play. With his leg Donnie Hagen managed to avoid a goal in the 43rdth minute, when Bale Hill's Tony Rubio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in Everton FC's zone, Jack Dodd stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donnie Hagen came out of the goal and Jack Dodd tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tony Rubio made a kick off. The supporters of Bale Hill booed when Everton FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freddie Burrell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Donnie Hagen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Gregg in the 54th minute of the match. Tony Rubio hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Willard Talley hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Donnie Hagen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tony Rubio, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. The audience was convinced that Tony Rubio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Donnie Hagen was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Tony Rubio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donnie Hagen having to interfere. Donnie Hagen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johnny Poole in the 78th minute of play. After some careless play in the Everton FC defense, Tony Rubio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Donnie Hagen. The Everton FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Donnie Hagen should have stopped the shot. Donnie Hagen came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Bale Hill's Tony Rubio. But to his dismay, Tony Rubio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Bale Hill's Tony Rubio got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
