Black Men FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Sousa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 20 minutes into the match, Black Men FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wilbert Sheets came free, but Milo Marsh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Morgan Martin scored 0-2 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Milo Marsh, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 26 minutes into the match, Morgan Martin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Milo Marsh. Black Men FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Morgan Martin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 29th minute, Elijah Sawyer fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 30 minutes into the match, Canal Fulton AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Sousa came free, but Matthew Pittman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Milo Marsh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Felder in the 34th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Morgan Martin was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Black Men FC's zone, Sal Jean stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Milo Marsh came out of the goal and Sal Jean tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 56 minutes into the match, Black Men FC's goalkeeper Milo Marsh had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sal Jean. Vito Harman kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Milo Marsh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Morgan Martin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Black Men FC's Milo Marsh proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Black Men FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Morgan Martin in the 64th minute of play forced Black Men FC's goalkeeper Milo Marsh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wilbert Sheets got free with Milo Marsh in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Milo Marsh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Felder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matthew Pittman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darrell Castle in the 67th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Black Men FC's goal looked a bit too open when Morgan Martin came free, but Milo Marsh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Morgan Martin in the 73rd minute of play forced Black Men FC's goalkeeper Milo Marsh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee gave Black Men FC a penalty, 88 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Kraig Mendez, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Canal Fulton AFC's Matthew Pittman. 1-4. Vito Harman hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Milo Marsh acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 93rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Markus Hendrickson. After 94 played minutes Black Men FC got a freekick which was hit by Darrell Castle. The Black Men FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Canal Fulton AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
