Edward Hayden breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edward Hayden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ted Kent in the 18th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FUCK ALBANIA!!!'s D.J. McLeod got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute of the match Victor Earl shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edward Hayden showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 23rd minute, Arthur Pruett got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Arthur Pruett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edward Hayden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ted Kent, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Westway AFC's Ted Kent got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arthur Pruett might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edward Hayden. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arthur Pruett ran back to his position shaking his head. Arthur Pruetts short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Edward Hayden to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dallas Woodall got free with Edward Hayden in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arthur Rouse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Arthur Pruett scored 1-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edward Hayden, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Ted Kent came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Westway AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ted Kent couldn't finish the play. If Arthur Pruett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute, Ted Kent made a precise shot to the right of Edward Hayden. FUCK ALBANIA!!!'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. FUCK ALBANIA!!!'s Edward Hayden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ted Kent in the 77th minute of play. After having played for 82 minutes, Ted Kent managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Edward Hayden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ted Kent in the 87th minute of the match. After having played for 90 minutes, Allan Calderwood managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
