Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Raymundo Clemons started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Tuan Bruner was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Raymundo Clemons showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. 6 minutes into the game, Leif McNeill was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mattoon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Xenia AFC the free kick. A collision led to Mattoon getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Leif McNeill hit a great ball. Christopher Owens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ezra Patten having to interfere. A collision led to Xenia AFC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Tyrese Jorgensen hit a great ball. Tuan Bruner was a little too slow when Raymundo Clemons got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 13th minute. The score was now 2-0. In the 15th match minute, Mattoon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarrod Hinkle to maneuver through the defense. Christopher Owens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Ezra Patten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Xenia AFC's Walton Rutledge in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mattoon's goalie prevented a goal. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mattoon's goalkeeper Ezra Patten, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Mattoon getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Leif McNeill hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the match, DeAndre Tobin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tuan Bruner, 3-0. Walton Rutledge hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Walton Rutledge was the one to do the kick off. Ezra Patten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walton Rutledge in the 54th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Charlie Lefler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tuan Bruner didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from DeAndre Tobin went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. The nice shot from Christopher Owens in the 65thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Ezra Patten had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. The audience was convinced that Cody Barrett's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tuan Bruner was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. If DeAndre Tobin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute, Charlie Lefler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. DeAndre Tobin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 79 minutes into the match, Mattoon's goalkeeper Ezra Patten had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christopher Owens. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Walton Rutledge in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ezra Patten prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Walton Rutledge struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Ezra Patten didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Xenia AFC. If Christopher Owens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. DeAndre Tobin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xenia AFC's Tuan Bruner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by DeAndre Tobin in the 93rd minute of play.
