When Manchester United FC's Carson Karros in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Akatsuki FC's goalie prevented a goal. Teodoro Reese took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jed Corey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Jed Corey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carson Karros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodoro Reese having to interfere. When Manchester United FC's Carson Karros in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carson Karros in the 36th minute of play forced Akatsuki FC's goalkeeper Teodoro Reese to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Manchester United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Francesco Sheppard came free, but Paul Kimball reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Milo Mayes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A nice corner shot did that D.J. Eastman got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Paul Kimball quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Francesco Sheppard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Francesco Sheppard to strike the kick off in the second half. Francesco Sheppard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Akatsuki FC's Francesco Sheppard in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Manchester United FC's Paul Kimball played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Douglas Pugh in the 63rd minute of play. Jed Corey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Akatsuki FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Dudley Carlisle hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Akatsuki FC's Antoine Lehman got a free kick in the 70th minute. During the 72nd minute of the match Antoine Lehman completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Antoine Lehman a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Antoine Lehman kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Manchester United FC's Carson Karros got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teodoro Reese showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carson Karros, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. When Francesco Sheppard fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Akatsuki FC's protests and gave Francesco Sheppard a yellow card for diving instead. After 84 played minutes Akatsuki FC got a freekick which was hit by Francesco Sheppard. Carson Karros's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teodoro Reese read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Benedict Manning managed to get in a good position for a shot. Akatsuki FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Benedict Manning was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paul Kimball breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Manchester United FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
