A collision led to Bengals Super Stars getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Jesse Benson hit a great ball. Dexter Beckman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zachary Stockton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emery Huffman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Quentin Stevenson in the 14th minute. 19 minutes into the game, Zachary Stockton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Dexter Beckman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Hidden Valley Lake AFC booed when Bengals Super Stars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesse Benson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zachary Stockton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dexter Beckman having to interfere. Randy Mata charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Randy Mata the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Bengals Super Stars getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. In the 35th minute, Hidden Valley Lake AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Quentin Stevenson fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Domenico McDonough hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Elvis Flint had several of the Hidden Valley Lake AFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 41 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Emery Huffman as he didn't even see the shot coming. Dexter Beckman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zachary Stockton in the 45th minute of play.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zachary Stockton in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dexter Beckman saved Bengals Super Stars from getting behind. Hidden Valley Lake AFC's Emery Huffman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elvis Flint in the 66th minute of play. Quentin Stevenson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emery Huffman having to interfere. 70 minutes into the game, Bengals Super Stars's Elvis Flint nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emery Huffman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. After 77 played minutes Bengals Super Stars got a freekick which was hit by Rory Anderson. Fabian Wise's late challenge caught a Bengals Super Stars's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabian Wise helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Hidden Valley Lake AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 84th minute. Penalty! After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Fletcher Layton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hidden Valley Lake AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fletcher Layton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dexter Beckman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elvis Flint in the 95th minute of play forced Hidden Valley Lake AFC's goalkeeper Emery Huffman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bengals Super Stars were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Hidden Valley Lake AFC for a fine match.
