An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Donahue in the 4th minute of play forced Pizza's goalkeeper C.J. Murdock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 6 minutes into the match, Lyle Clifton dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tod Lowe, 1-0. If Wes McDonough had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Donahue in the 14th minute of play forced Pizza's goalkeeper C.J. Murdock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes in the game, Wes McDonough fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Tod Lowe having to interfere. A hard shot 23 in the game by Ulysses Garrison from a close distance when the talented Tod Lowe managed to make a qualified save. anger management's players were relieved. Lyle Clifton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tod Lowe having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Edgar Donahue got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. C.J. Murdock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Donahue in the 32nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Troy Dahlstrom during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to anger management getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Troy Dahlstrom hit a great ball. In the 40th match minute, anger management was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sid Eaton to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute Wes McDonough shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tod Lowe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wes McDonough's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tod Lowe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wes McDonough stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lyle Clifton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Scott Crowell who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of C.J. Murdock when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Lyle Clifton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marc Pritchett hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. C.J. Murdock made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Donahue in the 65th minute of play. Edgar Donahue blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without C.J. Murdock having to make a save. Wes McDonough struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Tod Lowe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pizza. In the 78th minute, Sid Eaton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pizza's C.J. Murdock proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Pizza from getting a goal against them. Ulysses Garrison charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ulysses Garrison the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ulysses Garrison kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, anger management's Guillermo Santiago tried to score from far away in the 89th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. C.J. Murdock made an important save on a dangerous shot by Troy Dahlstrom in the 91st minute. Lyle Clifton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Pizza fans cheered their team off the field, for while anger management had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
