Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Cushing AFC's Ted Tinsley started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Cushing AFC's Omar Sands sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mervin Worthington narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Cushing AFC's Luther Begay got a free kick in the 8th minute. Bailey Burch hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Cushing AFC's Guy Noble tried to score from far away in the 12th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 20th minute, Ted Tinsley got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wilfredo Dickerson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Murray Watt in the 25th minute of the match. Mervin Worthington made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ted Tinsley in the 30th minute of play. If Alec Watkins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alec Watkins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ted Tinsley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 46 minutes into the match, Cushing AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Murray Watt came free, but Wilfredo Dickerson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 47 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cushing AFC! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Murray Watt to make the kick off. After 55 minutes, Tristan Finn mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Millbrae AFC and the Cushing AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alec Watkins might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wilfredo Dickerson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alec Watkins ran back to his position shaking his head. Omar Sands took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mervin Worthington. Mervin Worthington dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Mervin Worthington showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omar Sands, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Guy Noble shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Ted Tinsley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Mervin Worthington tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilfredo Dickerson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alec Watkins in the 81st minute. Murray Watt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilfredo Dickerson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Murray Watt, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Alec Watkins managed to get in a good position for a shot. Millbrae AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alec Watkins was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mervin Worthington showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omar Sands in the 96th minute of the match. Mervin Worthington didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ted Tinsley went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. If Omar Sands had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 101st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cushing AFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
