The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rusty Tracy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ethan Rutherford fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kory Frey having to interfere. Wes Shipley's late challenge caught a Fostoria AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wes Shipley helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Chelseafc getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Wes Shipley hit a great ball. Olin Pittman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kory Frey. Chelseafc's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Rusty Tracy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Kory Frey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ethan Rutherford in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kory Frey saved Chelseafc from getting behind. Kory Frey made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Rusty Tracy sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Al Latham during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Al Latham hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute, Rusty Tracy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kory Frey was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Ethan Rutherford sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kory Frey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ethan Rutherford, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Ethan Rutherford received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Kory Frey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 43 minutes, Ethan Rutherford managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fostoria AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ethan Rutherford was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 44 minutes into the match, Rusty Tracy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kory Frey. Chelseafc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rusty Tracy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Kory Frey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ethan Rutherford, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ethan Rutherford to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ethan Rutherford in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kory Frey saved Chelseafc from getting behind. 53 minutes into the match, Fostoria AFC's Ethan Rutherford sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kory Frey narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Chelseafc's Wes Shipley got his second yellow card of the match in the 53rd minute. The referee ordered Wes Shipley off the ground. Kory Frey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ethan Rutherford, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ethan Rutherford in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kory Frey prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Chelseafc's Kory Frey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ethan Rutherford in the 62nd minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Rusty Tracy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kory Frey. Chelseafc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rusty Tracy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. When Rusty Tracy came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Fostoria AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rusty Tracy couldn't finish the play. 75 minutes into the match, Chelseafc's goal looked a bit too open when Ethan Rutherford came free, but Kory Frey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute Ethan Rutherford shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kory Frey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Fostoria AFC booed when Chelseafc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Al Latham didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chelseafc's Kory Frey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Mathis in the 80th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ethan Rutherford in the 83rd minute of play forced Chelseafc's goalkeeper Kory Frey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Kory Major fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chelseafc's protests and gave Kory Major a yellow card for diving instead. In the 84th minute, Kory Major hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Rusty Tracy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kory Frey was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. After 86 played minutes Chelseafc got a freekick which was hit by Al Latham. Al Latham hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Chelseafc defense, Quincy Holliday kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kory Frey. The Chelseafc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kory Frey should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Ethan Rutherford managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fostoria AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ethan Rutherford was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kory Frey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fostoria AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
