When Sturgeon Bay's Gordon Barth in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Pablo Olsen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Pablo Olsen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gordon Barth's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Gordon Barth struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Pablo Olsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sturgeon Bay. Gordon Barth might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pablo Olsen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gordon Barth ran back to his position shaking his head. 33 minutes into the game, Sturgeon Bay's Jerold Hickey nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pablo Olsen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Sturgeon Bay's Gordon Barth got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cobi Cleveland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Pablo Olsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Davis Nugent was shown his second yellow card after 46 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 47th match minute, A.S United 17 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Davis Nugent to maneuver through the defense. The A.S United 17 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sturgeon Bay were winning 1-2.

Sturgeon Bay's Stanford Mooney pulled a muscle in his leg after 58 minutes and couldn't finish the game. In the 60th match minute, A.S United 17 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jared Oakley to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 61 minutes, Cobi Cleveland managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sturgeon Bay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cobi Cleveland was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 64 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Gordon Barth sped through A.S United 17's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pablo Olsen. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Gordon Barth managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sturgeon Bay's supporters rose to their feet, but Gordon Barth was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pablo Olsen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Heriberto Lind kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Gordon Barths short, quick shot in the 73rdth minute got Pablo Olsen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, A.S United 17's Tony Petty got a free kick in the 74th minute. Gordon Barth who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 78thth minute tested the skills of Pablo Olsen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Gordon Barth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the match, Sturgeon Bay's goal looked a bit too open when Nicky Pritchard came free, but Timmy Youngblood reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Quintin Cannon during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Pablo Olsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cobi Cleveland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gordon Barth struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Pablo Olsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sturgeon Bay. When the final whistle sounded Sturgeon Bay left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than A.S United 17.
