Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) sning city fc's Troy Grace started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Del Landers made a precise shot to the right of Eldon Adkins. Mission Bend's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 9th minute, Evan Gauthier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vince Le Van during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jamar Pickett, 22 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a defensive mix-up in sning city fc's zone, Cliff Patrick stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clark Humphries came out of the goal and Cliff Patrick tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vince Le Van hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. The supporters of Mission Bend booed when sning city fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonah Judd didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mission Bend's attentive Marco Barnes managed to snatch the ball when Jamar Pickett made a throw-in in the 34th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Troy Grace in the 38th minute of play forced Mission Bend's goalkeeper Eldon Adkins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute, sning city fc's Jonah Judd ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Eldon Adkins. Eldon Adkins yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lorenzo Stahl to strike the kick off in the second half. Lorenzo Stahl recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonah Judd kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Eldon Adkins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Troy Grace, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Troy Grace in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eldon Adkins prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lorenzo Stahl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 69 minutes into the game, sning city fc's Troy Grace nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eldon Adkins made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After 73 played minutes sning city fc got a freekick which was hit by Del Landers. Boyd Austin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 80th minute, Troy Grace left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The sning city fc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. A sloppy throw-in by Jamar Pickett in the 85th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Mission Bend's Brad Wilcox. In the 86th minute, Brad Wilcox fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Clark Humphries, passed just outside the right post. Mission Bend's Lorenzo Stahl got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cliff Patrick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Many of Mission Bend's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Mission Bend may have spent more time on the ball, but sning city fc were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
