Russ McCoy was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 16th match minute, Bobo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jack Lloyd to maneuver through the defense. Russ McCoy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Rafferty, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Bobo's goal looked a bit too open when Donovan Wetzel came free, but Russ McCoy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dominic Sheehan's late challenge caught a Cedar Lake FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dominic Sheehan helped the player get up and apologised. Dominic Sheehan hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Cedar Lake FC's Donovan Wetzel got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Donovan Wetzel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Russ McCoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Gabriel Rafferty made a precise shot to the right of Russ McCoy. Bobo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The audience was convinced that Donovan Wetzel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Russ McCoy was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Bobo's Russ McCoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donovan Wetzel in the 37th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sam Irving during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 40 minutes into the game, one of Bobo:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Bobo:s Russ McCoy showed great skill when he stopped Johnny Patton:s penalty. 47 minutes into the game, Cedar Lake FC's Bennett Woods nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Russ McCoy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Donovan Wetzel to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donovan Wetzel in the 55th minute of play forced Bobo's goalkeeper Russ McCoy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute of the match Jay Meeks sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Russ McCoy skillfully saved the ball. Gabriel Rafferty's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Russ McCoy read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Donovan Wetzel struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Russ McCoy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cedar Lake FC. In the 64th minute of the match Sam Irving shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Johnathan Gaston showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Jay Meeks fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cedar Lake FC's protests and gave Jay Meeks a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Cedar Lake FC's Jay Meeks got a free kick in the 65th minute. Gabriel Rafferty received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Russ McCoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 72 minutes in the game, Gabriel Rafferty fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Russ McCoy having to interfere. With a little luck, Bobo's Russ McCoy got control of the ball when Gabriel Rafferty tried to sneak it across the goal line. Myles Skaggs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Johnathan Gaston tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Robert Farley came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Bobo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robert Farley couldn't finish the play. Russ McCoy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gabriel Rafferty in the 88th minute. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bobo's goalkeeper Russ McCoy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Russ McCoy made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Gabriel Rafferty sent off a good shot on target. If Gabriel Rafferty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute, Brandon Cardwell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Russ McCoy came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Cedar Lake FC's Gabriel Rafferty. But to his dismay, Gabriel Rafferty quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. When the final whistle sounded Cedar Lake FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Bobo.
