Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Wiley Cortes got the match started through his kick off. Rocco Layton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andreas Peoples having to interfere. 17 minutes into the game, Mohammad Stark was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. East Washington's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Utica United the free kick. Mohammad Stark kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rocco Layton in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andreas Peoples prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gilberto Vaughan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andreas Peoples having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Utica United's goal looked a bit too open when Wiley Cortes came free, but Fernando Daley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wiley Cortes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 26 minutes, Rocco Layton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Utica United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rocco Layton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Utica United's Gilberto Vaughan in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye East Washington's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Utica United's zone, Wiley Cortes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Daley came out of the goal and Wiley Cortes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andreas Peoples made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Vaughan in the 34th minute of play. In the 37th minute of the match Angelo Kidd shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fernando Daley showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rocco Layton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Andreas Peoples tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernando Daley made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Randy Escobedo sent off a good shot on target. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rocco Layton made a kick off. Andreas Peoples made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rocco Layton in the 54th minute of play. When Wiley Cortes came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the East Washington fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wiley Cortes couldn't finish the play. Gilberto Vaughan came free with the goalkeeper in the 61st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Andreas Peoples could save by the left post. Andreas Peoples didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 67th minute, which inside left pole to 0-1. After 75 minutes of play, East Washington's Randy Escobedo made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fernando Daley was left in no man's land by his defense there! Wiley Cortes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Fernando Daley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. East Washington's Andreas Peoples played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristopher Cotton in the 83rd minute of play. Sylvester McKenna hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Kristopher Cotton kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
