Cobi Bruce had several of the St. Andrews's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 7 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Donovan Calhoun as he didn't even see the shot coming. Donovan Calhoun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Johnathon Coleman in the 13th minute. If Johnathon Coleman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Johnathon Colemans short, quick shot in the 18thth minute got Donovan Calhoun to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 22 minutes into the game, Flint Titus was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tysons Corner AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave St. Andrews the free kick. After 22 played minutes Tysons Corner AFC got a freekick which was hit by Flint Titus. In the last second Donovan Calhoun throw himself and got hold of the ball when Cobi Bruce in the 24thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After 28 minutes, Caleb Cutler mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tysons Corner AFC and the St. Andrews players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 28th match minute, Tysons Corner AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caleb Cutler to maneuver through the defense. Johnathon Coleman's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 31stth minute, Donovan Calhoun skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Tyron Landry fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored St. Andrews's protests and gave Tyron Landry a yellow card for diving instead. In the 32nd minute, Tyron Landry hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cobi Bruce could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Donovan Calhoun made a huge save. Norman Newton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mel Redd, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flint Titus hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Cobi Bruce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute, Johnathon Coleman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The wind increased when Mel Redd made the kick off in the second half. Alex Boston charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alex Boston the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 51st minute of the game. One of Tysons Corner AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of St. Andrews:s goal. Mel Redd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucien Uribe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mel Redd recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. St. Andrews's Donovan Calhoun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cobi Bruce in the 72nd minute of play. Cobi Bruce scored 2-1 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Donovan Calhoun, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 78th match minute, St. Andrews was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesse Bruner to maneuver through the defense. Donovan Calhoun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cobi Bruce, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 82nd minute, Lucien Uribe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The attack was good, but when Cobi Bruce in the 84th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Johnathon Coleman in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Donovan Calhoun saved St. Andrews from getting behind. Tysons Corner AFC's Norman Newton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Tysons Corner AFC from getting a goal against them. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Tysons Corner AFC fully deserved thier win.
