Dallas Altman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Rhett Leslie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. NY Metropolitans's Julian Ragsdale got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Woodcrest AFC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Emilio Zepeda hit a great ball. Dallas Altman struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Rhett Leslie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NY Metropolitans. Rhett Leslie didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dallas Altman went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to NY Metropolitans getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Dallas Altman hit a great ball. In the 29thth minute of the game Dallas Altman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Woodcrest AFC's Rhett Leslie was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rhett Leslie didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when NY Metropolitans's Dallas Altman shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. After some careless play in the Woodcrest AFC defense, Julian Ragsdale kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rhett Leslie. The Woodcrest AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rhett Leslie should have stopped the shot. Bailey Kirkland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Quinn Woodruff in the 38th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, NY Metropolitans's Cole Pham got a free kick in the 39th minute. Dallas Altman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rhett Leslie having to interfere. Rhett Leslie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dallas Altman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Quinn Woodruff to strike the kick off in the second half. Julian Ragsdale struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Rhett Leslie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NY Metropolitans. Dallas Altman might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rhett Leslie. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dallas Altman ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 69th minute, Dallas Altman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. NY Metropolitans's Lucas McNeil was substituted for Dallas Altman. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucas McNeil in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rhett Leslie prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdinand Newcomb in the 84th minute of play forced NY Metropolitans's goalkeeper Bailey Kirkland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas McNeil in the 85th minute of play forced Woodcrest AFC's goalkeeper Rhett Leslie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute, Lucas McNeil made a precise shot to the right of Rhett Leslie. Woodcrest AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. When the referee ended the match the NY Metropolitans players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
