If Damon Babcock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 7 minutes into the match, FC Guillet's goalkeeper Byron Burger had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Damon Babcock. In the 8th match minute, Goshen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarrett Deaton to maneuver through the defense. Tyrone Beam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clayton Easley in the 9th minute of play. Damon Babcock fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Byron Burger having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, FC Guillet's goalkeeper Byron Burger had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Damon Babcock. Edgardo Ford charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edgardo Ford the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 17 played minutes FC Guillet got a freekick which was hit by Edgardo Ford. Quentin King sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dana Marin charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dana Marin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dana Marin hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Byron Burger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quentin King, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Orr kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. A collision led to Goshen getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Louis Johns hit a great ball. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Guillet's goalkeeper Byron Burger, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Quentin King to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Damon Babcock shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Byron Burger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Damon Babcock struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Byron Burger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Goshen. After 63 minutes of play, Goshen's Quentin King made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Byron Burger was left in no man's land by his defense there! Byron Burger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quentin King in the 66th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Damon Babcock got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Clayton Easley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Damon Babcock in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Byron Burger saved FC Guillet from getting behind. Quentin King fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Byron Burger having to interfere. 86 minutes into the game, one of FC Guillet:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Tyrone Beam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clayton Easley in the 91st minute of play. In the 96th minute, Jamal Kline hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 98th minute, Quentin King made a precise shot to the right of Byron Burger. FC Guillet's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Goshen walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
