Damian Emerson might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tyson Wright. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Damian Emerson ran back to his position shaking his head. Vincent Lockwood took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zachary Frye, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Zachary Frye had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vincent Lockwood made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guy Wells in the 43rd minute. After 45 minutes, Paul Combs mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stuttgart and the Raton AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Raton AFC booed when Stuttgart was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paul Combs didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zachary Frye fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vincent Lockwood having to interfere.

If Shaun Vinson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Raton AFC's goalkeeper Vincent Lockwood, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Stuttgart's Shaun Vinson in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Raton AFC's goalie prevented a goal. When Tristan Skaggs came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Stuttgart fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tristan Skaggs couldn't finish the play. Raton AFC's Vincent Lockwood played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shaun Vinson in the 67th minute of play. Vincent Lockwood showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guy Wells in the 69th minute of the match. Vincent Lockwood took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guy Wells, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stuttgart's Shaun Vinson got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 73 minutes into the game, Guy Wells cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. In the 76th match minute, Stuttgart was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guy Wells to maneuver through the defense. Stuttgart's Guy Wells got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Zachary Frye managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stuttgart's supporters rose to their feet, but Zachary Frye was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vincent Lockwood breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Guy Wells sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Shaun Vinson came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Stuttgart fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Shaun Vinson couldn't finish the play. Stuttgart's Carlo Robinson got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There was no doubt that Stuttgart were the better team. Stuttgart's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
