The Money Makers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tom Donahue should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wiley Simmons in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tom Donahue saved Money Makers from getting behind. After 16 played minutes Money Makers got a freekick which was hit by Junior Ezell. Lewis Walker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wiley Simmons sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Nance stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Max Merchant's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Wiley Simmons received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Tom Donahue tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Nance showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricky Powers in the 33rd minute of the match. Wiley Simmons's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tom Donahue read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Lewis Walker got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Wiley Simmons made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Lewis Walker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tom Donahue saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wiley Simmons in the 59th minute of play forced Money Makers's goalkeeper Tom Donahue to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricky Powers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Carlos Nance made a huge save. Carlos Nance made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ricky Powers in the 65th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Money Makers's zone, Lewis Walker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tom Donahue came out of the goal and Lewis Walker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ricky Powers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 72nd minute, Adalberto Fish hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 77 minutes of play, tubs's Wiley Simmons made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tom Donahue was left in no man's land by his defense there! Money Makers's Tom Donahue played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lewis Walker in the 86th minute of play. A very good chance. tubs walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
