Westbury's defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Giovanni Pruett scored to the left of an out of position Jesus Kirkpatrick, making the score, 0-2. Giovanni Pruett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Valley Village's zone, Taylor Stein stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donny Barrow came out of the goal and Taylor Stein tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Shaun Joseph fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesus Kirkpatrick having to interfere. In the 76th match minute, Valley Village was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Trinidad Jeffers to maneuver through the defense. Jeramy Yoshioka's late challenge caught a Valley Village's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jeramy Yoshioka helped the player get up and apologised. After 84 played minutes Westbury got a freekick which was hit by Jeramy Yoshioka. Giovanni Pruett struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Jesus Kirkpatrick didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valley Village. When the final whistle sounded Valley Village left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Westbury.
