Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alexis Moses took the kick off in the first half of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abraham Stinson in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sonny Robinson saved Natchitoches from getting behind. In the 8th minute, Abraham Stinson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 10th minute, Darren Thorne got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nicky Merrill received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Johnny Lopez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Darren Thorne in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Johnny Lopez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 21st play minutes Alexis Moses shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Sonny Robinson and just under the crossbar into goal. Ed Toney took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sonny Robinson. Natchitoches's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Nicky Merrill was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 31st minute. Natchitoches's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Abraham Stinson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Sonny Robinson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicky Merrill sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Alexis Moses came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Johnson City FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexis Moses couldn't finish the play. Abraham Stinson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicky Merrill got free with Johnny Lopez in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Darren Thorne to strike the kick off in the second half. Abraham Stinson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Sonny Robinson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Johnny Lopez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darren Thorne, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 58th match minute, Johnson City FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Duncan to maneuver through the defense. Darren Thorne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicky Merrill hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. A collision led to Johnson City FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Randall Dodge hit a great ball. Johnny Lopez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darren Thorne in the 75th minute of the match. Nicky Merrill sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Darren Thorne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Johnny Lopez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darren Thorne in the 81st minute of the match. Odell Candido hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Sonny Robinson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexis Moses in the 84th minute of play. Milan Light charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Milan Light the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Johnny Lopez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darren Thorne in the 89th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Johnson City FC's zone, Nicky Merrill stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Johnny Lopez came out of the goal and Nicky Merrill tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Natchitoches's Sonny Robinson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Natchitoches from getting a goal against them. Sonny Robinson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexis Moses, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Johnson City FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
