Louie Keenan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Knutson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 7 minutes into the match, Monstars fc's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Knutson came free, but Louie Keenan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Chavezs short, quick shot in the 9thth minute got Louie Keenan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wintersville's goalkeeper Johnathan Bradley, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 13th minute, Lance Keys left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Monstars fc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Benito Chavez struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Louie Keenan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wintersville. Ross Stinson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johnathan Bradley having to interfere. Benedict Hutchins's late challenge caught a Monstars fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benedict Hutchins helped the player get up and apologised. Benedict Hutchins hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Benito Chavez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Louie Keenan made a huge save. Ross Stinson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Johnathan Bradley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Benedict Hutchins was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 31 minutes had been played. After 32 played minutes Wintersville got a freekick which was hit by Benedict Hutchins. After 35 played minutes Monstars fc got a freekick which was hit by Dominic Montoya. Gerard Goins, 36 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Benito Chavez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Louie Keenan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Wintersville's Claudio Sheehan got a free kick in the 39th minute. Benito Chavez's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 44thth minute, Louie Keenan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Louie Keenan made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Benito Chavez sent off a good shot on target. Antony Hogan charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antony Hogan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 46 played minutes Monstars fc got a freekick which was hit by Antony Hogan.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benito Chavez to make the kick off. Benito Chavez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benjamin Knutson kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Monstars fc's zone, Benito Chavez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Louie Keenan came out of the goal and Benito Chavez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Daren Hess had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ross Stinson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Benito Chavez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 69 minutes, Bruce Delarosa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wintersville and the Monstars fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bruce Delarosa kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Monstars fc's Vern Larkin tried to score from far away in the 70th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Benjamin Knutson kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Wintersville's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ross Stinson 77 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. In the 80th minute of the match, Ross Stinson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Johnathan Bradley saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience was convinced that Benito Chavez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Louie Keenan was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. In the 85th match minute, Monstars fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vern Larkin to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Wintersville's zone, Ross Stinson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Johnathan Bradley came out of the goal and Ross Stinson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Johnathan Bradley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ross Stinson in the 90th minute of play. After 92 minutes, Benjamin Knutson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wintersville and the Monstars fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 92nd minute, Benjamin Knutson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lance Keys succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 93rd playminute. The Monstars fc players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
