Alberto Lawrence made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmed Pierce in the 37th minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Forrest Pena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Forrest Pena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilbert Arroyo having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Steve Pham was the one to do the kick off. Osvaldo McKinnon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Osvaldo McKinnon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alberto Lawrence having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steve Pham in the 59th minute of play forced Barboursville's goalkeeper Gilbert Arroyo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 59 played minutes Barboursville got a freekick which was hit by Lyle Morrow. Steve Pham took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gilbert Arroyo. Gilbert Arroyo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Steve Pham charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Steve Pham the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 81 played minutes Rosedale got a freekick which was hit by Steve Pham. Gilbert Arroyo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steve Pham in the 84th minute of the match. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Barboursville's goalkeeper Gilbert Arroyo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 87 minutes into the match, Barboursville's goal looked a bit too open when Steve Pham came free, but Gilbert Arroyo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
