Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Derrick Bullard got the match started through his kick off. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Lockney FC's Brian Bautista in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye New Ellenton's goalie prevented a goal. 41 minutes into the match, Lockney FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremy Valentin came free, but Jimmy Dietz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brian Bautista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

If Elton Snider had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Clay Thompson during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 66 minutes into the game, Edward Baca recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jimmy Dietz. Edward Baca showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Lockney FC's Jimmy Dietz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Lockney FC from getting a goal against them. 79 minutes into the game, Edward Baca cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Jimmy Dietz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 84th minute Derrick Bullard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimmy Dietz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lockney FC's Jimmy Dietz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Derrick Bullard in the 85th minute of play. A collision led to Lockney FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Cristopher Crusher hit a great ball. New Ellenton's Derrick Bullard got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jimmy Dietz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jeremy Valentin in the 90th minute. Vaughn Watkins didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Brian Bautista went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-6 was the resulting score. New Ellenton's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
