Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Kerry Wall kicked off to start the match. Jeffrey Law dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 7th minute, Wilfred Tidwell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Tad Wilburn came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Cottonwhistle fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tad Wilburn couldn't finish the play. Tad Wilburn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Richmond having to interfere. Wilfred Tidwell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Jeffrey Law tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute Kerry Wall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeffrey Law saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 44th minute of the game. One of Timmonsville AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cottonwhistle:s goal. In the 45th minute there was a penalty for Cottonwhistle. Lee Valentin stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Aurelio Richmond. 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stephan Simmons made a kick off. Kerry Wall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeffrey Law stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kerry Wall's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. In the 68thth minute of the game Kerry Wall who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cottonwhistle's Jeffrey Law was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wilfred Tidwell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeffrey Law having to interfere. Dennis Newsome charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dennis Newsome the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Cottonwhistle's Dennis Newsome got a free kick in the 94th minute. In the 97th match minute, Cottonwhistle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelio Wiseman to maneuver through the defense. There was no doubt that Timmonsville AFC were the better team. Timmonsville AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
