Arthur Moses's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Terence Hatcher read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Chillum's Terence Hatcher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilton Cooper in the 92nd minute of play. Almont FC's Pedro Bryant got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Almont FC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Chillum to win.
