Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Arthur Moses hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Brad Horner got in the 8th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Ivan Hinds handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. After 10 minutes, Wilber Kearns mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the McColl FC and the Almont FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 11 played minutes McColl FC got a freekick which was hit by Wilber Kearns. Through an outstanding action, after 13 minutes, Sammy Abbott successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 17th minute, Almont FC's Wilton Cooper dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. When Benjamin Friedman fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored McColl FC's protests and gave Benjamin Friedman a yellow card for diving instead. The goalkeeper, Sammy Abbott, was totally fooled by Almont FC's Stanton Eubanks, who 24 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Wilton Cooper fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sammy Abbott having to interfere. Ivan Hinds made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brad Horner in the 29th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Almont FC's goal looked a bit too open when Weldon Parham came free, but Ivan Hinds reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilton Cooper recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wally Swenson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sammy Abbott read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Pedro Bryant hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. McColl FC's Sammy Abbott proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save McColl FC from getting a goal against them. Ivan Hinds showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Weldon Parham in the 41st minute of the match. Pedro Bryant recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 44 minutes, Enrique Gale managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Almont FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enrique Gale was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The wind increased when Brad Horner made the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes of play McColl FC's Benjamin Friedman was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 55th minute, one of McColl FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for McColl FC. In the 58th minute there was a penalty for Almont FC. Stanton Eubanks stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sammy Abbott. 3-0. Sammy Abbott didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wilton Cooper went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. 69 minutes into the match, Wilton Cooper had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sammy Abbott. McColl FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wilton Cooper was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Sammy Abbott showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilton Cooper in the 74th minute of the match. In the 77th match minute, Almont FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Don Baxter to maneuver through the defense. Wilton Cooper sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilton Cooper in the 83rd minute of play forced McColl FC's goalkeeper Sammy Abbott to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Almont FC booed when McColl FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rene Drummond didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in McColl FC's zone, Pedro Bryant stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sammy Abbott came out of the goal and Pedro Bryant tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Enrique Gale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute, Pedro Bryant made a precise shot to the right of Sammy Abbott. McColl FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. If Zachery Gill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wally Swenson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sammy Abbott having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Almont FC had played much better football throughout.
