Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Lucien Kerr kicked off to start the match. 6 minutes into the game, Norbert Paul was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Collegedale AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maumee FC the free kick. An unexpected shot in the 11th minute by Ernesto Silva got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 14thth minute of the game Bryant Fay who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Collegedale AFC's Dallas Kirkpatrick was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Keith Cash sped through Collegedale AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dallas Kirkpatrick. In the 24thth minute of the game Keith Cash who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Collegedale AFC's Dallas Kirkpatrick was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Maumee FC's goalkeeper Rocco Osborn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ernesto Silva. A collision led to Maumee FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Graig Whitten hit a great ball. Collegedale AFC's Lucien Kerr got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maumee FC's Roger Presley got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Collegedale AFC defense, Keith Cash kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dallas Kirkpatrick. The Collegedale AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dallas Kirkpatrick should have stopped the shot. Rocco Osborn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ernesto Silva in the 37th minute. Keith Cash received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Dallas Kirkpatrick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Maumee FC's Renaldo McMahon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dallas Kirkpatrick narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lucien Kerr fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rocco Osborn having to interfere. Keith Cash might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dallas Kirkpatrick. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Keith Cash ran back to his position shaking his head. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The wind increased when Keith Cash made the kick off in the second half. Renaldo McMahon kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 54th minute of the match Ruben Rios shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rocco Osborn showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 55 played minutes Collegedale AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Silva. Dallas Kirkpatrick took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bryant Fay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Keith Cash received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Dallas Kirkpatrick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th minute Lucien Kerr shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rocco Osborn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maumee FC's Rocco Osborn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lonnie Crow in the 69th minute of play. Keith Cash who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of Dallas Kirkpatrick when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Ernesto Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute Ernesto Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rocco Osborn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucien Kerr fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rocco Osborn having to interfere. Roger Presley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Dallas Kirkpatrick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Collegedale AFC's Ernesto Silva in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Maumee FC's goalie prevented a goal. Maumee FC's Keith Cash got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rocco Osborn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucien Kerr, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lonnie Crow in the 95th minute of play forced Maumee FC's goalkeeper Rocco Osborn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Collegedale AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Maumee FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Maumee FC.
