Wade Sherman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rusty Crane in the 13th minute of play. Cookeville's Brock Pittman suffered a concussion in the 16th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. After 16 minutes, Filiberto Varner mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lehigh Acres and the Cookeville players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Lehigh Acres's Filiberto Varner got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 19th minute, Lanny Walter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wilmer Khans short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Andy Neff to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Cookeville getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Scottie Salinas hit a great ball. In the 28thth minute of the game Domenico Boyles who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cookeville's Andy Neff was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 28th match minute, Cookeville was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlo Marin to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute, Lehigh Acres's Wilmer Khan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. The attack was good, but when Wilmer Khan in the 38th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After 42 played minutes Lehigh Acres got a freekick which was hit by Filiberto Varner. After 43 played minutes, Cookeville's Norman Drake shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Wade Sherman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cookeville reached it. Andy Neff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lanny Walter in the 47th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Freddie Libby to make the kick off. After 51st play minutes Domenico Boyles shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Andy Neff and just under the crossbar into goal. When Lehigh Acres's Domenico Boyles in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Andy Neff showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domenico Boyles, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After 71 minutes, Scottie Salinas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cookeville and the Lehigh Acres players grew even worse after the yellow card. One of Cookeville:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lehigh Acres:s goal. In the 90th minute there was a penalty for Lehigh Acres. Domenico Boyles stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Andy Neff. 8-0. Andy Neff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domenico Boyles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 97 minutes into the match, Cookeville's goal looked a bit too open when Lanny Walter came free, but Andy Neff reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lehigh Acres walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
