Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Garrett Spaulding kicked off to start the match. When the match clock showed 4 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Garrett Spaulding sped through Waveland's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathon Urmanski. In the 6th minute of the match Bob Butler shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathon Urmanski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Waveland's Ramiro Dennis got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Valley Stream AFC's zone, Luke Rutledge stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Prather came out of the goal and Luke Rutledge tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 13 played minutes Valley Stream AFC got a freekick which was hit by Raymond Covington. Carson Ciccaglione sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Carson Ciccaglione had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramiro Dennis struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Tommy Prather didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Waveland. Jonathon Urmanski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tim Avila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Ramiro Dennis could shoot a difficult shot in the 29th minute, which Tommy Prather however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tim Avila in the 30th minute of play forced Waveland's goalkeeper Jonathon Urmanski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathon Urmanski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tim Avila went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Valley Stream AFC's Carson Ciccaglione got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luke Rutledge was the one to do the kick off. A hard shot 52 in the game by Garrett Spaulding from a close distance when the talented Jonathon Urmanski managed to make a qualified save. Waveland's players were relieved. Bob Butler took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jonathon Urmanski. Waveland's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Garrett Spaulding could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Jonathon Urmanski made a huge save. Tommy Prather made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luke Rutledge in the 58th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Waveland's goal looked a bit too open when Tim Avila came free, but Jonathon Urmanski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Valley Stream AFC's Foster Sanders got a free kick in the 64th minute. After some careless play in the Valley Stream AFC defense, Ramiro Dennis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Prather. The Valley Stream AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Prather should have stopped the shot. In the 83rdth minute of the game Tim Avila who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Waveland's Jonathon Urmanski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 85 minutes, Tim Avila managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valley Stream AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tim Avila was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The long shot by German Shafer in the 90th minute really tested Jonathon Urmanski's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Raphael Land's late challenge caught a Valley Stream AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raphael Land helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Waveland's Raphael Land got a free kick in the 91st minute. Tim Avila recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 96 minutes into the match, Waveland's goal looked a bit too open when Tim Avila came free, but Jonathon Urmanski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valley Stream AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
