Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dean Kurtz started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Rickie Connor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Reginald Metzger's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Laurence Contreras was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Laurence Contreras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clint Mason in the 8th minute of play. Clint Mason received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Laurence Contreras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Laurence Contreras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clint Mason, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Basil Hopkins succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 32nd playminute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Clint Mason to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Real SoCal's Clint Mason ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Laurence Contreras. Laurence Contreras yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Lance George scored 1-2 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Laurence Contreras, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 64th minute, Randy Lockwood hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute, Ronny Kessler sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Roxboro's Laurence Contreras didn't even have to move. If Clint Mason had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 73 minutes, Lance George mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real SoCal and the Roxboro players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 74th minute, Dean Kurtz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 76th minute, Clint Mason got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Real SoCal booed when Roxboro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rickie Connor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clint Mason's late challenge caught a Roxboro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clint Mason helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Real SoCal's Clint Mason got a free kick in the 89th minute. If Reginald Metzger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Basil Hopkins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Sorenson having to interfere. Rickie Connor's late challenge caught a Real SoCal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rickie Connor helped the player get up and apologised. Rickie Connor hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. In the 97thth minute of the game Clint Mason who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Roxboro's Laurence Contreras was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Real SoCal's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
