Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when German Whittaker kicked off to start the match. After 4 played minutes South Glens Falls got a freekick which was hit by Son Huddleston. German Whittaker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stacy Stephenson having to interfere. South Glens Falls's Stacy Stephenson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caleb Mabry in the 10th minute of play. Marc Wilkinson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Junior Leon, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 15 minutes into the game, when Caleb Mabry put in a rough tackle. 14 minutes into the game, one of Crestview Hills FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Marc Wilkinson had in the 17thth minute some difficulties stopping Oscar Todd's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Marc Wilkinson came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by South Glens Falls's Oscar Todd. But to his dismay, Oscar Todd quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 22 minutes into the game, Crestview Hills FC's Dario Roy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stacy Stephenson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 25th match minute, South Glens Falls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Junior Leon to maneuver through the defense. German Whittaker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Stacy Stephenson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Dario Roy put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Stacy Stephenson. The audience was convinced that Dario Roy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stacy Stephenson was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. 34 minutes into the match, Wendell McCann had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stacy Stephenson. South Glens Falls's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wendell McCann was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Merlin Ford hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Crestview Hills FC's Marc Wilkinson got control of the ball when Hugo Erickson tried to sneak it across the goal line. South Glens Falls's Stacy Stephenson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dario Roy in the 43rd minute of play. 45 minutes into the game, Crestview Hills FC's Javier Rowell nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stacy Stephenson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alec Valentine to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Dario Roy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stacy Stephenson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th minute Javier Rowell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stacy Stephenson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Crestview Hills FC's Stacy Stephenson threw himself towards the right post 58 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dario Roy, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Stacy Stephenson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dario Roy, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Marc Wilkinson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alec Valentine in the 65th minute of play. After 68th play minutes Dario Roy shot 1-7, a short shot which went by Stacy Stephenson and just under the crossbar into goal. Wendell McCann who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 72ndth minute tested the skills of Stacy Stephenson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Crestview Hills FC's Ricky McCall got a free kick in the 78th minute. 1-9 became the score in the 82nd minute when Dario Roy elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Stacy Stephenson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dario Roy's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Alec Valentine's late challenge caught a Crestview Hills FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alec Valentine helped the player get up and apologised. Ralph Koch recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 94 minutes into the match, South Glens Falls's goal looked a bit too open when Dario Roy came free, but Stacy Stephenson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dario Roy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match was over Crestview Hills FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than South Glens Falls throughout the match.
