The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pierre Deal hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Ty Larkin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 7thth minute, Jefferson Wallace skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, Corunna AFC's Pierre Deal got a free kick in the 9th minute. 13 minutes into the game, Byron Hamilton threw the ball into play from the sideline. World stars's Darin Dozier quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When World stars's Reggie McRae in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Corunna AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Reggie McRae sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ty Larkin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Jefferson Wallace tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ty Larkin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Trenton Hope sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 1-0 became the score in the 34th minute when Ty Larkin elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 38 minutes into the match, Corunna AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Reggie McRae came free, but Marco McKinney reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ty Larkin got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 2-0 in the right cross in the 42nd match minute before Jefferson Wallace had time to react. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Elijah Roberson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jefferson Wallace having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Ty Larkin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jefferson Wallace was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Darin Dozier hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Ty Larkin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jefferson Wallace having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Reggie McRae hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 64 minutes into the match, World stars's goal looked a bit too open when Ty Larkin came free, but Jefferson Wallace reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brett Hoover was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 66th minute. World stars's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Reggie McRae fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco McKinney having to interfere. Renaldo Caballero charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Renaldo Caballero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Corunna AFC booed when World stars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renaldo Caballero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ty Larkin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elijah Roberson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jefferson Wallace having to interfere. After 81 played minutes World stars got a freekick which was hit by Brett Hoover. Jefferson Wallace showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ty Larkin, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 85th minute, Ty Larkin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Ethan Pacheco came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the World stars fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ethan Pacheco couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Reggie McRae managed to get in a good position for a shot. World stars's supporters rose to their feet, but Reggie McRae was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco McKinney breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Corunna AFC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
