Blaine Kerr made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jasper Lucero in the 10th minute of play. If Robbie Swain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Josiah Salter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Josiah Salter received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jaime Funk came out and tried to block the shot, but Josiah Salter slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 15th minute. Jasper Lucero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Blaine Kerr tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Josiah Salter got the audience’s attention when, from a short distance, he fired away a great shot in the 23rd minute of the game. The shot hit the left post and bounced out. Robbie Swain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Jaime Funk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 33 minutes into the game, paralympiacos's Robbie Swain nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jaime Funk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Teodoro Mims kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Blaine Kerr took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Annan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Robbie Swain to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, paralympiacos's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jasper Lucero fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 51 played minutes Oyster Bay FC got a freekick which was hit by Shelton Loomis. The supporters of Oyster Bay FC booed when paralympiacos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cody Delaney didn't get a good kick on the ball. Enrique Annan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blaine Kerr having to interfere. If Robbie Swain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, paralympiacos's Damon Platt got a free kick in the 78th minute. Melvin Diggs, 79 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. paralympiacos's Blaine Kerr played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jasper Lucero in the 80th minute of play. Cody Delaney hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. When Melvin Diggs fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Oyster Bay FC's protests and gave Melvin Diggs a yellow card for diving instead. After recieving a nice pass, paralympiacos's Cody Delaney tried to score from far away in the 86th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 92nd of the match, Jasper Lucero tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Blaine Kerr got in the way and made a wonderful save. If Josiah Salter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enrique Annan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Blaine Kerr made a huge save. Oyster Bay FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
