If Leif McCoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ray Engel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from William Felix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 48 minutes into the match, Paoli FC's goal looked a bit too open when William Felix came free, but Ray Engel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Paoli FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ravenswood were winning 0-1.
