Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The supporters of F.C. Salt booed when Wading River was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donald Rector didn't get a good kick on the ball. Donald Rector received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Brock LoDuca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Donald Rector managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wading River's supporters rose to their feet, but Donald Rector was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brock LoDuca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. F.C. Salt's Brock LoDuca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mel Cuevas in the 13th minute of play. After some careless play in the F.C. Salt defense, Morgan Barr kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Brock LoDuca. The F.C. Salt fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Brock LoDuca should have stopped the shot. Donald Rector sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Morgan Barr fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brock LoDuca having to interfere. Wading River's Donald Rector got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Donald Rector in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brock LoDuca saved F.C. Salt from getting behind. In the 33rd match minute, Wading River was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Keith Ponce to maneuver through the defense. Brock LoDuca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Morgan Barr in the 37th minute of the match. Morgan Barr struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Brock LoDuca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wading River. Donald Rector's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brock LoDuca read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. In the 45th minute Donald Rector shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brock LoDuca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 47 minutes, Morgan Barr managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wading River's supporters crossed their fingers, but Morgan Barr was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Korey Napier was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, F.C. Salt's Brock LoDuca got control of the ball when Mel Cuevas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind F.C. Salt's goalkeeper Brock LoDuca, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Brock LoDuca made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Morgan Barr sent off a good shot on target. Donald Rector recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Morgan Barr received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Brock LoDuca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, F.C. Salt's goal looked a bit too open when Donald Rector came free, but Brock LoDuca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Morgan Barr struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Brock LoDuca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wading River. 72 minutes into the match, F.C. Salt's goalkeeper Brock LoDuca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Morgan Barr. The audience thought a goal was coming when Morgan Barr got free with Brock LoDuca in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Brock LoDuca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Donald Rector's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. With a little luck, F.C. Salt's Brock LoDuca got control of the ball when Morgan Barr tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Donald Rector had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute Donald Rector shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brock LoDuca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in F.C. Salt's zone, Donald Rector stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brock LoDuca came out of the goal and Donald Rector tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Korey Napier during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 93rd minute, Korey Napier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The F.C. Salt fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Wading River were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
